I know. I know. Sometimes a family gift is not every individual’s cup of tea. Trying to please everyone with one object that isn’t a swimming pool or a puppy? A tall order. But sometimes they make sense! Here are a few cozy family gifts I personally recommend.

1. Freestanding Towel Warmer
So happy one of these recently came my way so we could experience a cozy luxe detail at home we found in bathrooms on visits to Europe.
I wasn’t aware of the existence of mobile, freestanding towel warmers since you typically see them installed on the wall. In fact, in the renovation planning stage, I had considered adding one to this wall where we put the shelf in our renovated bath:
Since it would be too tight a squeeze under the shelf now, Amba’s 24″ towel warmer is perfect at the other end of the tub. There’s a button to press it on at the top of the vertical bar on the left, and it takes about 10 minutes to completely heat to dry and warm the towels.
A thoughtful family gift especially in homes with just one bathroom, there are other uses such as for drying swimsuits and beach towels in summer.
