I wanted to share a few of my favorite pieces–these are the best things I bought this year that I can wear:

1. Levis Ribcage Denim: Perfectly loose without feeling sloppy.
2. Velvet Dress: That dress I wore to Jean Stoffer’s Christmas event, even Jean commented on it! It’s SO comfy and fits great – I’m 5’4” and wear a small.
3. Sezane Sweaters: I started wearing sweaters more last year. They are more difficult to find second hand, at least where I live. Now, Sezane sweaters are the thing I splurge on more than shoes, coats or jewelry–it’s knits for me. 
4. Ballet Flats: surprisingly comfy!

Also, I created a quick hosting guide with 3 things I focus on and 3 things I don’t worry about. I’m an introvert who loves to host and finally, in my 15th home, I’m at the point where I’m able to host with a 30 minute notice if needed.

Just yesterday, we hosted a family of six for dinner at the last minute, we texted them about 3 hours before and made it work, nothing was perfect but it was yummy and we had a great time together and I WAS NOT STRESSED.
